English Abstract
In this article, a power generation and energy storage integrated system based on the open-winding permanent magnet synchronous generator (OW-PMSG) is proposed to compensate for wind power fluctuations and reduce system costs. First, a new integrated topology of power generation and energy storage is constructed to support the flexibility of energy flow in the system through OW-PMSG. Then, the control principles of the semi-controlled OW-PMSG system are analyzed, and the bidirectional energy flow between energy storage and the permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) is fulfilled by controlling the voltage vector generated by the energy storage converter. Furthermore, the acceptable range of the dc-bus capacitor voltage is calculated to guarantee effective modulation. On this basis, a stable power control strategy based on voltage regulation is proposed to maintain the constant power transmitted to the grid. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme is verified through experiments.
