English Abstract
This article introduces an impedance-source four-leg inverter (IS4LI) based on a switched-capacitor technique to achieve the constant common-mode voltage (CMV) and suppress the leakage current. The space vector modulation (SVM) with shoot-through state insertion is implemented to provide the high boost capability. Then, proposed SC-IS4LI can improve the output voltage quality with high modulation index operation. In addition, the proposed SC-IS4LI also provides low voltage stress on the devices. The operating analyses and closed-loop control method of the proposed SC-IS4LI are presented. A comparative study of the proposed SC-IS4LI and existing impedance-source inverter topologies is also performed. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed SC-IS4LI is validated by simulations and experiments.
